Mobb Deep rapper Prodigy's bizarre cause of death finally revealed

Mobb Deep star Prodigy died after choking on an egg, it has been confirmed by a coroner.The 42 year old rapper choked on an egg while he was in hospital being treated for sickle cell anemia

He died on June 20.

The Clark County Medical Examiner has ruled his cause of death as accidental choking, according to TMZ .


He was in a Las Vegas hospital when it happened.He battled sickle cell anemia all his life, and it had flared up following a performance in the severe Las Vegas heat.

Prodigy reportedly had to be pulled out of a fan meet-and-greet event at a concert in Vegas after his security team noticed he was struggling.
