As written by the mum of two on her IG page this morning. But just before that, I have this to say, guys. From me Laila to you.

Marriage is not evil. The kind of picture being painted about marriage these days due to the very disturbing stories recently happening is really a graphic one and lots of young ladies are right now scared of getting married. Some people are even ruling out marriage from their books. Please my people, marriage is still a beautiful thing. But you MUST do it right to succeed in it.

Right from choosing your partner on the very first day you set your eyes on him and you 'fall' in love TO choosing that beautiful dress you will wear on your wedding day. You must get it right!! Women can be very happy and fulfilled in marriages. There are faithful, non-violent husbands in Nigeria. Happy marriages exist in Nigeria, there are women who are very happily married. Marriage is still a thing to long for. HOWEVER, if you are currently in an abusive marriage, please don't kill yourself trying to save face or praying it must work by thunder by force. LEAVE that marriage now. Don't even think too much about it. Just let it go. Just move on. There are better days ahead for you and your kids, if you have any. You must first be alive to enjoy those better days. Say NO to domestic violence! These violence stories break my heart. Jeez!!! Ada's message  below...
