SUPER EAGLE : 'We need God's mercy and favour, Onazi Speaks

Ahead of the must win clash against Egypt today, Lazio and Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder says the Super Eagles of Nigeria must be prayed for, if the Egyptians are to be beaten at their home.

Speaking exclusively to LIB, he reiterated the players' commitment to the cause and said he will stop Egypt's star player Mohammed Salah.

'We are in high spirits in the camp. Tthe first match against Egypt was not a bad game, there was just a little distraction' Ogenyi said to LIB.

Onazi, couldn't play the first leg against Egypt because he was still serving suspension but says he is now raring to go and is ready to stop Egypt's Mohammed Salah who scored against Nigeria in the first leg.

'Stopping Salah is something we need to do as a team, because I can decide to stop Salah, what about the other players? We need teamwork, they all can score, not only Salah. The preparation for this game has been going well. We won against Chad, Egypt won against Chad too, we know exactly what is at stake. All we need now is to win, nothing short of winning, so we are prepared in our minds. We need prayers, we pray for God's mercy and favour because that is all we need to pass through, it's not easy to win over here in Egypt.'
