A Zimbabwean man, Given Ngqabutho Nyoni, has been arrested by the police for the murder of a sex worker identified as Agnes Mulazi.

He reportedly paid the prostitute $2 for her services and at the end of the sex session he was not satisfied with her performance so he requested for a refund.

Jackson Feutubobai, pictured above, was today sentenced to death by hanging by a Bayelsa state High court for murdering one Inspector Joseph Ofozini in Lobia II community in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on April 5th 2013. ‎Jackson was part of a gang that killed 11 police officers on the day of the incident.

FG declares March 25th, 28th as public holidays to celebrate Easter

An early morning fire has consumed a portion of the Mammy Market of the Nigerian Navy Town Ojo.

Witnesses told Daily Sun that the fire started at 3am and consumed most of the market areas where they sell children’s clothings and other perishable items.

Nurses Shut Down Ondo Hospital In Protest Over Unpaid Salaries

Nurses in Ondo State has not received  salaries and bonuses since November of last year,  Iyabo Adefemi, told SaharaReporters.

The protesting nurses, members of the Ondo State chapter of the National Association of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, were expressing their grievances towards the leadership of the hospital over its insensitivity towards their plight in the facility. Specifically, they accused the leadership of refusing to pay their salaries and bonuses since November 2015 till date.
