Top Nigerian female music artists, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Seyi Shay are on for a serious battle as they have been nominated side-by-side at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), 2016.

Tiwa Savage was nominated because of her song ‘If I Start to Talk’, Yemi Alade with the song ‘Na Go De’ while Seyi Shay was nominated because of her song ‘Right Now’. Other Nigerian contestants in the category include, Aramide and Niniola.
However, the nominee list was made possible through the meeting held by the African Union and the 13-man jury put together by AFRIMA. The event is set to hold on Sunday, November 6, in Lagos.
